18K RING WITH TURNING CORNELIAN SIGNET

This is a special affecting 18K witch ring. The shank is made with two golden wires that were twisted in contrary directions, and then soldered together. So when you look on the ring, it creates the optical effect that its going from small to big. This is the reason why this ring is called 'Witch' ring. The top is made of a turning cornelian stone engraved on both sides with symbols and scriptures ( we think Sanskrit).

MATERIAL : 18K yellow gold
STONES : 1 cornelian stone. The cornelian stone is a variety of chalcedony that is usually flesh-red, but also ranges from yellowish-red to reddish-brown. Heating can intensifies the colour. Flecks of the matrix sometimes mottle the stone. It is hard and tough, and so is often carved in Intaglio form as a seal, or used as beads.
WEIGHT : 3.50 gram (2.25 dwt)
ENGRAVING: We believe it is Sanskrit but we couldn't find any information yet about it. We will continue with our search and of course if you know more about it you may always contact us.
